Free Homebuyers Workshop in Sharpsburg
NeighborWorks Western PA (in partnership with Allegheny River Towns Enterprise Zone, PCRG, UPMC Health Plan, and S&T Bank) is hosting a FREE Homebuyer Education Workshop on Saturday, August 29 from 8:30AM-4:30PM. The event will take place at Roots of Faith Ministry Center (800 N. Main Street, Sharpsburg, PA 15215) and lunch will be provided.

- A comprehensive approach to the homeownership process covering
- Money management skills--saving for homeownership
- The importance of credit in thehome purchase process
- Demystifying the mortgage process with a real-live loan officer
- Working with key players like realtors, home inspectors, and homeowners’ insurance agents (with guest speakers from each field!)
- The course further fulfills requirements for many local financial institution’s mortgage products, as well as the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, and First Front Door grants.
