Help Identify HUD Funding Priorities
Help identify funding priorities for five Federal HUD Programs: Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).
Every five years, the Center for Community Financing in the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) prepares a Consolidated Plan that outlines the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s plans for the use of its federal HUD grants in infrastructure, housing, public services, homelessness and economic development. The Community Needs Survey provides an avenue for the citizens of Pennsylvania to contribute their opinion on the strengths and weaknesses of their community. DCED will use the survey results to help identify funding priorities for five federal HUD programs CDBG, HOME, ESG, NSP, and HOPWA, as well as assist in the future development of programs at the state level. This survey will also assist us in targeting and leveraging resources to address the needs for stronger and vibrant communities. Your participation is anonymous, and DCED will place a copy of the aggregated results on its website at www.newPA.com.This survey will close at 5 p.m. on November 30th, 2013. Any questions on the survey or how to complete it may be sent to RA-DCEDcdbg&homequestions@pa.gov or by contacting Megan Snyder, Center for Community Financing at (717) 720-7404.
