Gladstone School Visioning Meeting To Be Held

A community meeting discussing the future of the Gladstone school building in Hazelwood will take place this Tuesday, November 10th at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be hosted by Propel Hazelwood located at 5401 Glenwood Avenue. The meeting is open to the public and community members are encouraged to bring their friends and neighbors. The goal of the meeting is to gather further community input into the redevelopment of the Gladstone building.A coalition consisting of representatives from the Hazelwood Initiative, the Center of Life, and Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group's Reimagining Communities Initiative will be attending a community meeting regarding the future use of the Gladstone school building in Hazelwood. Representatives from Make It Right! will also be in attendance.Facilitators will discuss the ideas discussed at the last meeting, and present preliminary concept plans for what the Gladstone building could be.  This meeting will be the second of three community meetings.At the previous meeting, which took place on October 2oth, groups of community members brainstormed their vision for the future use of the building as well as their vision for what the building would not be.
